Streamline Taxis is the largest taxi company in the city.
We have 360 fully licensed cabs with CCTV and 700 fully licensed drivers.
Our Cooperative Association was established in 1936.
We are a local not global company, with roots and connections within the local area with businesses and charities.
All fares are local council controlled rates as well as charged by the meter. There is no surge pricing.
All our vehicles and drivers abide to the
"Blue Book Brighton & Hove Hackney Carriage and Private Conditions of Licensing"
We are the preferred taxi provider for Roedean school, EF language school Brighton, EF language school Hove, American Express, Bupa, Southern Trains, Embassy language school and Brighton university medical schools.
We have many valued account customers such as the BBC and EDF. Accounts are also open to the public and are easy to start up.
You can call our admin department (01273 729403), or email with your request to open an account.
Our wide range of vehicles include high & low four seater saloons. There are both manual & electric wheelchair accessible vehicles. We also provide large estates and several types of multi-seater cars that can hold five to eight passengers.
All of our ‘wheelchair accessible vehicle’ drivers have been specially trained in the safe loading and unloading procedures of wheelchairs to ensure your complete safety and satisfaction.
All streamline taxi drivers are fully CRB checked.
This is one of many reasons why streamline is used by so many of the city’s language schools - and of course Roedean school itself.
Alongside our rich history, we also have a passion for the future.
We pride ourselves on having an understanding of community, technology and efficiency.
Technology has developed so fast over the last few years and we are always creating new technologies that improve your experience as a customer, improve our footprint and reduce our wait times.
This enables various other new developments that not only improve your journey overall, but make your life easier.
Feedback and metrics help us understand deeper ways to improve our service and foresee areas of development. We are excited by the possibilities.
